MGM drivers on the podium at PCA 48 Hours of Sebring

MGM started off the year on a postive note with several drivers earning podium finishes during the PCA 48 Hours of Sebring event.

Peter Collins and Warren Cooper both participated in the Sprint Races during the weekend. This was Peter’s first weekend in his new 2010 Porsche GT3 Cup car and it seems like the new pairing is a good fit.

The first Sprint race of the weekend featured 64 cars at the start. Peter finished 6th overall and 3rd in the GTC5 class. Warren finished 10th PIC in the GTC3 class.

More than 55 cars started the second Sprint race of the weekend. Peter finshed 5th place overall and improved a position to finish 2nd place in class in GTC5.

On Sunday, MGM drivers Warren Cooper and Denise Stubbs participated in the three hour Enduro. Known as the team  underdogs, Cooper and Stubbs stunned everyone with their podium finish at Daytona. They hoped to earn a podium again at Sebring. Despite encountering some technical difficulties during the race, they did just that! Cooper and Stubbs earned 3rd place in class in GTC3.
